U.S. Route 13

U.S. Route 13 runs north-south across the height of Delaware, entering just north of Salisbury, Maryland and passing through Seaford, Bridgeville, state capital Dover, Smyrna, New Castle and Wilmington before exiting into Pennsylvania. From Dover to near Bear it parallels its functional replacement, the Delaware Route 1 toll road. It also has a freeway connector to and from Delaware Route 1, the Puncheon Run Connector, in the Dover area.
