U.S. Route 22 east - Allentown to Bethlehem

U.S. Route 22 (Lehigh Valley Thruway) pulls away from its interchange with Pennsylvania Route 309 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, just east of its split with Interstate 78. US 22 is the more direct freeway alignment between the Lehigh Valley cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, as opposed to I-78 which sits much further south of the latter two cities.
